EXPERIENCE ARACRUZ GRANITE

Ensure a successful visit

BEFORE YOUR VISIT

Select a Fabricator/Contractor/Designer – WhileツAracruz Graniteツcannot assist you in selecting a Fabricator/Contractor/Designer, our Teamツcan offer some pointersツto help ensure that your experience is a pleasant one. When selecting a Fabricator/Contractor/Designer, Aracruz Graniteツrecommends that you:

  • Make sure that you feel comfortable with your Fabricator/Contractor/Designer – It’s important to work with helpful people that you trust during the process. Remember, this should be an enjoyable experience.
  • Scope of work –ツHave you thoroughly explained your design project to your Fabricator/Contractor/Designer as well as any expectations you have of them? Fabricators/Contractors/Designers all need to know exactly what the needs are for your design projectツin order to best assist you in selecting what you need and giving you an accurate quote for theツamount of work the job will require.
  • Ask and Listen – Has a neighbor or friend recently purchased granite? Ask them about their experience.

Give Yourself Time – Upon arriving to Aracruz Granite, be sure to give yourself a minimum of (1) hour to select and view slabs. There are many factors that may extend the amount of time that is needed for viewing and selecting material for your design project including but not limited to:

  • The number of slabs required for your design project – The more material you need to select the longer it will take to display and select the stone slabs. ツOur team generally displays up to 4 slabs at a time. ツIf your project requires more than 4 slabs to be displayed you may have to wait for them to display slabs for another client before they will be able to display the remainder of the slabs needed for your project. ツThis allowsツyou the ability to examine the initial slabs during the time you are waiting and also allows other clients the opportunity to view their materials as well.
  • More than one type of stone slab required for your design project – If your design project needs to have more than one variety of material, it will take longer to display the materials and more time for your selection as they will have to move material from multiple sections of our warehouse.
  • How decisiveツyou are – If you are already prepared when arriving by having narrowed down what materials or colors you would like for your design project it will take less time to select material than if you are more open-minded when you arrive and would like to browse through the entire selection of stone slab materials that we offer. ツOur Team at Aracruz Granite is willing to work with you for as long as it takes to select the perfect material for your design project as we are here 8am-5pm Monday through Friday and 9am-2pm on Saturday. The key to making it a stress-free experience is toツkeep in mind the time you personally have available to commit to the selection process.

Come Prepared – If possible, bring a cabinet sample, floor sample or other decor piece that may help you select material to compliment your project.

  • Cabinet drawer
  • Cabinet door
  • Floor tile
  • Paint swatch
  • Throw pillow, centerpiece, or anything else that is a key color to your design project

Kids ツSafety is our first priority.ツAracruz Granite highly recommends for safety reasons that if at all possible you leave your kids in the care of others while you come and visit us; however, we also recognize that other arrangements at times are not possible. For safety reasons, any kids under 12 in the warehouse must be carried in arms or strapped in a stroller.

Stone slabs weigh a minimum of 500 pounds and by nature may contain cracks or fissures that are not perceptible to the human eye. ツThere is a possibility of slabs cracking, breaking and falling at any time. ツIn addition to this hazard, there are also forklifts moving around the warehouse at all times. ツOur Team at Aracruz Granite are all safety conscious and have passed OSHA training and forklift certifications; however, this also requires your cooperation in keeping a safe distance from them at all times.

Aracruz Granite also provides:

  • An unsupervised play area – This play area, located in our showroom area, has a play kitchen, coloring supplies, small building blocks, a TV and free wi-fi.
  • Complimentary snacks and beverages – We provide a variety of different small snacks which may includeツcrackers, granola bars, fruit snacks along with 100% fruit juice, water and soda.
  • If your child is too young to be left alone in the play area, they are allowed within the warehouse provided they are either carried in arms at all times or strapped in a stroller. ツAracruz Granite does not provide strollers or child carrying equipment as we do not recommend having any children under 12 in the warehouse.

Pets – Service animals are allowed in the warehouse. All other pets must be carried in arms or secured in a pet stroller to be allowed in the warehouse.
